The collection of prophecies we call Isaiah can be difficult to study for a number of reasons. And yet, it contains some of the most passionate poetry in the Hebrew Bible and teaches much about the God we serve and his plans for the world. Here are a collection of Bible lessons designed for adult Bible class teachers, to help you lead your community of faith to be able to hear the Word of God in this remarkable book.
This collection is organized by themes within Isaiah, and I’m in the process of developing more lessons to be posted shortly. They do not cover every text within the book, nor do they necessarily follow the order that the material is found in Isaiah, so naturally you should feel free to teach them in any order you wish, or to shorten your study and only pick a few of the lessons here. Each lesson is built around a specific text except the first, which is introductory to the whole.
Additionally, I’ve collected some resources that are available in print and on the web.
