Personal Dreams and goals for Pleasant Valley: To encourage all of God's Saints who meet together at this place to worship, to walk the road of Discipleship. To increase their faith in God, and to place God in the center of their lives. To strive to walk with Jesus in all aspects of our lives. To be dependent on God and his good will and purpose in our Discipleship journey on earth. Hopefully this congregation of Saints will meet the spiritual food needs of our children, teens, young adults, middle age and our beloved older saints who are witnesses to Gods love and mercy. As we follow the teaching of the Prince of Peace, may we grow in love, mercy, kindness, and forgiveness. We are God's chosen, we are his children, we are blessed.

My real passion: To have God the center of my life. To grow in wisdom and understanding and to have a loving heart and an attitude of forgiveness. To learn the lesson from a life long scholar of the Bible who was asked the question, "In all the years you have studied the Bible, what is the most important lesson you have discovered?" His answer was, "Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so."

Scriptures that inspire me: John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." I Peter 2:24 "He himself bore our sins in His body upon a tree, so we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed." And Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

Myself in a few words:
I trust I have been a good husband, father and grandfather. My children and their mates are Disciples of the Lord. Margie and I have nine grandchildren, and they are Meagan, Bennett Allen (Clark and Michelle), Avery, Merin, Jacob, Claire (Jon and Lisa), Morgan, Jay Bennett and Lillie (Carol and Bob). I like to read and study about the early church, and the members behavior. I write, paint, work around the house and play a little golf.
