Date of Birth: March 9, 1949 Wife: Alice Children: Spencer (married to Heather, parents of Alex and Bret), Jeremy (married to Beth) Year I came to Pleasant Valley: 1983 Year I became an elder here: 2003 Ministries I’m closely involved in: Youth Education (teach 5th Grade Bible Class), T.E.A.M., Golden Years My personal dreams and goals for PV: I want us to be a refuge and strength for our children. We have to teach them about Christ and how he can be an important part of their lives while they’re young and impressionable. Jesus told us in Mathew 19 to allow the children to come to him and that the “kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”. I’d like to see us continue to be a leading church in the brotherhood so that we might influence and encourage other congregations.
My real passion: teaching the 5th Grade Bible Class, my family and especially my grand boys. Myself in a few words: I’m an avid golfer, continue to play on the church softball team with my son Spencer, and enjoy making and building wood work projects.
