My real passion:  To be the kind of husband, father, and friend God would be proud of.

My fondest experience at PV: Working with Debbie, Kandi, and Mrs. Sandra in the church office!  They do know how to keep you in line!  They have been terrific at welcoming me to PVCC, and I truly love them.  It’s great to have such wonderful sisters in Christ!!  Baptizing my daughter, Maddie, has to be at the forefront of my fondest experiences, as well.  What a day!!

Personal dreams and goals for PV:

The Family LifeCenter will be an outreach ministry.  I want the FLC to be a place where everyone is accepted, a place where they want to be and where they feel comfortable.  The FLC should be a place where someone finds a brother or sister to share their struggles, to spend time working out, playing basketball, walking or running the track, and where everyone is the same no matter what background he or she comes from.

God’s plan is already laid out for the FLC. Listening to Him as a Church is what we have to do.  Even though I have been given the task to oversee things, it will take all of us to make it “happen.”  Coming together as one is the goal I have for Pleasant Valley and the Family Life Center. 

Myself in a few words:  A few words to describe myself would include…… 

Athletic, sports minded, humorous, outspoken, self-motivated, obnoxious, and  passionate.

I love to spend time with my wife Celese.  She is “my everything!”  My children, Greg, Maddie, Kelly, and Heather are the best kids in the world and I pray I will be the right kind of influence on them God wants me to be.

I am a true Razorback fan……that means I ALWAYS stick with them in good times and in bad.  GO HOGS GO!!

I love to workout and stay fit.  I enjoy triathlons, marathons, and cycling.  Cycling with the guys from PV (you know who you are) is something I look forward to every week.  These guys are a real inspiration spiritually and I am glad to call them “friends.”   I also enjoy an assortment of good music while working out even though Chuck would disagree.

Having to stay committed to selflessness is a major challenge each day, but I keep striving with God’s help to be the best I can.
