“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.”~ Romans 12:1
On earth, as in heaven, God is worshiped when His will is done. When we sacrifice the desires of self in favor of God’s will, we are at worship; we are seen by Him as holy and pleasing.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to discover the thrill of such worship on this side of eternity?

“I will put my dwelling place among you, and I will not abhor you. I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people.”~ Leviticus 26:11-12
From the very beginning in the garden, God’s intention has been to dwell with man - until sin separated us. He reveals His desire with this conditional promise through Moses – if the people would obey His commands. He repeats it through Ezekiel (37:27 ) and John (Revelation 21:3 ).
Though completely fictional – and often humorous – the Mark Twain short stories often collected as "The Diaries of Adam and Eve" close with Adam lingering over the grave of his beloved. Adam muses: “Whersoever she was, THERE was Eden.”
In a more real way, the same can be said of God – and until then, Jesus tells His followers: “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
