My personal dreams and goals for PV: That we get this "church thing"
right. We need to exude the sweet aroma of Jesus to our community
because He lives and works in us. We need to be a haven for those who
are broken, crippled, and hurting. We need to be the church which loves
God, His son, His word and each other so that others can confirm that
we are genuinely His disciples. We need to return to the purposes(s),
(not the "how," but the "what") of the New Testament church and
duplicate that at PV.
Myself in a few words: I like to spend time with my family. My hobbies are reading and jogging.
My fondest memories of my Christian walk have been those associated
with baptizing my wife and my three children. The best things about
being a member of the PV congregation has been the close friends which
I have because of the blood of Jesus which placed us in the same
family, making us brothers and sisters. These relationships have
sustained me, lifted me up, encouraged me and as our teens would say:
"have always been there for me."
