Ministries I’m closely involved in: Adult Education: class teacher in young couples and singles; adult education cluster of elders – involvement in planning and review of all facets of teaching and worship such as assemblies, regularly scheduled classes, small groups, special seminars, etc. Operations: member of the operations cluster of elders with review responsibilities for facilities, support staff, budgeting, etc.

My fondest experience as an elder at PV: Observing the love, respect and dedication of the elders as a whole for God and the congregation is a tremendous experience. Watching the way God answers prayers for guidance and wisdom in meeting our needs in the search for new ministers and in working with ministry assignments has been a faith-building experience.

My personal dreams and goals for PV: I long for us to have such a deep appreciation for and a confidence in our salvation that we, like the apostles, live a life that cannot help but share ‘what we have seen and heard.’ And, that we have a compassion for all in our midst so that we are known in our community by the love we have for each other. Putting these two dreams together, it is my dream that great numbers of people in our community come to know Christ.

My real passion: I love the opportunity to grow in the knowledge of God through working with others in a study of God’s word. I love to witness lives changed by God’s work in them.

Myself in a few words: I suppose first, people should know that I am married to Andee. I think that she is the perfect description of the ‘better half.’ Next, I would like for them to know about my two sons. Finally, I enjoy outdoor activities, such as snow skiing, golf and water skiing. I also enjoy watching football and basketball. I build buildings to support the above activities.
