The purpose of Silver Servants is to assist members (men and women) of the congregation who are 55 years plus. The function of Silver Servants is to encourage men and women who are willing and able to help others by providing opportunities for such service.
Projects to improve quality of spiritual and physical life of members 55 plus are scheduled to start Sept. 7, 2011. Silver Servants will meet on the first Wednesday of each month following Chuck Monan’s morning class. A monthly fellowship meeting with a short program and lunch will be held in Room E-4 and the kitchen/café area.
Nine monthly programs with guest speakers are scheduled. The theme for all programs is “Home and What Can Be Done to Improve Life and Security Within the Home.” Please join us after Chuck’s class for a program and lunch, and learn of ways we can help you.
