The church in Jacarepaguá met for Sunday worship for the first time ever in part of the new building.  Everyone was excited about meeting in the new facility.  While it is still too small for our needs and doesn't allow us any room to grow, it is much nicer than where we had been meeting for the past ten years.

Alcideia, at 77 years of age, is among the oldest members of our congregation.  She was radiant yesterday as she feared she might no live to see the day that we would meet around the Lord's table in the new structure.

Please continue to pray for the growth of the Lord's kingdom in Rio de Janeiro and that He will provide the funds we need to continue the construction so that we will have the space we need to hold all of the people that He is sending our way.
