The church calendar for the month of June has been especially full. There was a dinner for couples, we have a Let's Start Talking group in town hosting parties every weekend, two girls had their big 15th birthday parties and this weekend had two more big events.
Saturday evening Luiz Claudio and Márcia renewed their wedding vows. They had a civil ceremony 21 years ago and have long desired to commit their love to each other before God and to request His blessings on their wedding. Many tears of joy were shed at this wonderful occasion.
Speaking of tears of joy, Zoraide shed a few on Sunday as she gave her life to Christ. Her childhood friend, Jupiara, invited her to church. Zoraide has been studying the Bible every Tuesday and Thursday morning for the past several months. She was pleased that her 18 year old daughter, Tais, was in attendance Sunday to witness her new birth.
