The purpose of the Greeting/Hospitality Ministry is to meet and welcome members and visitors attending services at Pleasant Valley. The end objective of this effort is to create a sense of family warmth where everyone – members and visitors – feel like they are “at home.” First impressions about a congregation are often formed when people are greeted as they enter the building. Greeters are important in conveying a sense of family and belonging – their friendly smiles and warm handshakes are essential for a healthy, active church. The Greeting/Hospitality Ministry needs volunteers with welcoming smiles.
