Jorge Pineda - December, 2008 |

Dear brethren,
Just to share the good news about the CTP Bible program for the Central Arkansas Hispanic churches. We are expecting 25 students this coming December 5 and 6. We also are so excited about the way CTP has been published as one of the tools we have to help in the growth of Christians from Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Please, take the time to see the article written in the following web page. Can you recognize these two men in the picture?

Larry & Connie Zinck - November 25, 2008 |
|
Sitting down to write a newsletter is an excellent way to remember a few of the many blessings that the Lord has showered us with recently.
- This past Sunday, November 23rd, was our annual "Thanksgiving Sunday". We had a full house as many visitors were present to give thanks to God for the numerous ways He has blessed us in 2008.
- Connie and I are proud of Jonathan who is finishing up his junior year of High School.
- We will be leaving in just a few days for our furlough to the USA. We hope to see you as we make stops in 7 different states.
- Enio LaTorre was in Rio on the weekend of September 7th to teach short course on Paul's letters to Timothy and Titus. Many church members took advantage of this opportunity to dig deeper into God's word.
- Nathan and Sara were married on Saturday, September 27th in Searcy, Arkansas. It was a wonderful opportunity to get all of our family together this special event. And we pray that the Lord will bless Nathan and Sara as they begin their new life together and as they make plans to move to Niteroi, Brazil in March.
- In October Lucinaldo made his decision to become a follower of Christ.
- Antonio and Leandro were born again on November 2nd.
- People like Cesar, Maria and Carol continue to come to our Outreach Center eager to learn more about the Bible and God's will for their lives.
- The ladies in the congregation decided to start meeting in someone's home every Thursday afternoon for prayer, Bible study and fellowship.
- The annual Ladies Tea in October was a big success.
- Construction of the new church building is moving ahead. The foundation is almost finished and we hope to have three brand new classrooms (that will serve as the new Outreach Center) ready to use by April of 2009.
And last but not least, we give thanks to God for YOU. For your friendship, your encouragement, your prayers and yours support. The Lord has been very good to us!
