My real passion: Watching kids discover God, and watching them claim a place in his mission.
What drives me as a minister: I love the people in this church so much! From the elders to the youngest children, I love interacting with the family at PV. It has been home to me.
My fondest experience at PV: A couple of years ago we had a group of students that read the gospels straight through in a month. Meeting Christ in that context was a remarkable thing.
My personal dreams and goals for PV: I love dreaming about what we can become as a body. I would love to see us become a more challenging force for each other. I would love to see us hold each other to greater standards and provoke each other to greater levels of discipline, service, and expectation.
Myself in a few words: I enjoy all kinds of things – from coaching soccer to grilling out, and watching Alabama football. More than anything else though, I love to read and talk about good books. I love essays, poetry, short stories, and all kinds of non-fiction.
