At River City, our motto is ‘Lifting up Jesus in the Inner City,’ which emphasizes two of our priorities. First, we are about lifting up Jesus, honoring and sharing him in all we do. Second, we are about the Inner City. In a time when many are fleeing the city for peace and tranquility, we aim to move upstream, right into the rapids, striving to reach the urban dwellers less likely reached by our established churches.
